I know Jennie ordered the Collectors' Edition also. I was waiting until she posted to show some of the prints. I really need to have a better picture of the Book itself.

Wonder if the Collector's Edition are all the same or have different covers like the smaller books?

This picture looks identical to what I received.

At a Kroger's grocery store here in Va, they had the regular edition "Beedle the Bard" for 40% off---it was less than $8.00, so of course I got it.

I found it here in one of the large bookshops. I read the ad in a magazine. I can't wait to go get it. Very Happy

oh Kaydle! I decided not to get the collector's edition after all. Though now I wish I would've stuck with my first decision... Sad

@ Jennie
How Funny!! You were going to get the collector's edition and didn't. I didn't want it but changed my mind and it was too late.

Has anyone had time to read the stories? I didn't like the "Hairy Heart". Too morbid.

I just looked on my confirmation email and it was delivered yesterday. But I wasn't home then... I'll go straight home tonight, read and report what I liked! Wink

Ear, Ear! or rather Heart, Heart! I agree--much too gruesome. I liked the Fountain of Fair Fortune best.

For less than $10.00, yes, it is worth buying. It's a small book, only 128 pages and takes about an hour or so, to read. If anyone has the "Text Books", the ones about how to play quiddich and the other about magical creatures, it reminded me of that except a little bigger.

There is, if memory serves, 5 tales, and a follow-up by Dumbledore at the end of each tale, explaining with the tale meant in his opinion and how it effected the magic world, especially with the muggles in some of the stories. Some of the opinions are rather funny.

So I've just bought it from the book fair. There were both the UK and US editions. I bought the US one. It looks so good. I can't wait to read it. Very Happy
